About the Journal
Jurnal Ekonomi Islam (p-ISSN: 2252-566 | e-ISSN: 2443-0056) is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (April and October) by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Syarifuddin Lumajang, Indonesia. The journal focuses on Islamic economics and related disciplines by integrating Sharia principles with contemporary economic, financial, business, legal, and socio-economic issues, particularly in emerging economies.
Accredited SINTA 2 by Decision of the Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia number 2/C/C3/KPT/2026, IQTISHODUNA publishes high-quality original research, conceptual and empirical studies, literature reviews, and practical insights. The journal’s strengths include a rigorous peer-review process, an interdisciplinary approach, international language policy (English and standard Arabic), and a strong orientation toward bridging theory and practice, making it a reliable reference for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers in Islamic economics and business.

IQTISHODUNA: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam is accredited rank 2 by Decision of the Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia number 2/C/C3/KPT/2026 (decree).
Effective from the 2025 issue, IQTISHODUNA: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam retains its previous accreditation status during the grace period, as the extension applies due to the prior accreditation expiring before the new decision is issued (decree).
